New Pearls
God gave asked me to give up something I loved. Then He replaced it with something better. It reminds me of a story about pearls that bothered me as a child. Perhaps He did this to help me exercise trust in Him, knowing that faith in Him fuels miracles. What does the pearl story mean to you? How much do you trust Him?
Loved the analogy Sarah. I believe we are often asked to 'give up' something for something else much greater but probably miss doing so more than we could because we are unwilling to let go of what we have without seeing all that will replace it. Good thoughts!
