Irrational Joy

I spent 35 years wondering when I would feel joy. And I spent years searching for the “joy of the saints” (Enos 1:3), unable to find it. But now I’ve spent two years in intimacy with God, and I know the joy of the saints, this irrational joy that is independent of the circumstances around me. It is big! And soul-satisfying.
