Setting Myself Aside

Today I glimpsed how motherhood is teaching me to be more like my Savior. It’s teaching me to set my “self” aside and attend to my children. In fact, motherhood reminds me of Jesus teaching and feeding the five thousand right after he learns of the death of John the Baptist. How are your circumstances, motherhood or otherwise, teaching you to be more like Jesus, particularly if those circumstances are challenging? How is God shaping you through your challenges?
