Broken Instead of Whole

I went to Italy believing God would make me whole. I came home feeling profoundly broken. I’m reminded of Joseph in Egypt or Moses delivering the Hebrews. God told both of them that great things were going to happen, and the next thing that happened was the opposite of His promises!

What has God promised you? If you are experiencing the opposite of that promise, how do you hold onto His promises to endure to their fulfillment? How do you keep your eye single to Him?
