Parable of the Talents

I noticed two things in this parable. First is that the master (God) in this parable gives his servants different amounts of talents, but in the end each servant that used and progressed with what they had been given received THE SAME reward. This is such a good reminder that comparing ourselves to others is meaningless at best, and often harmful. Secondly, the servant who doesn’t get his reward, who buries his talents, does so because he was afraid. What do you fear? Can you invite Jesus into those fears, so that you can grow in your spiritual gifts?
